BOlympics Event General Rules & Regulations

Event Overview:

The BOlympics event features Cricket, Volleyball, Futsal, Peddle Tennis, and Table Tennis competitions.

General Rules:

  1. Umpire/Referee Decision: The umpire/referee’s decision will be final and binding.
  2. Reporting Time: Teams must report 20 minutes before their scheduled match.
  3. Player Conduct: Any player found misbehaving or engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct will be disqualified from the match and may face further disciplinary action.
  4. Management’s Rights: The management reserves the right to make decisions on any matter not covered by these rules and regulations.
  5. Attire:

    – Only sports shoes are allowed on the playing field/court.

    – Cricket: White trousers are compulsory.

    – Other sports: Shorts are allowed (except for cricket).

  1. Participation Fee: Every team must pay the participation fee (100%) before the start of the event.

Additional Rules:

  1. Team Composition: Teams must submit their final squad list before the start of the event.
  2. Player Eligibility: Players must be registered with their respective teams and meet the eligibility criteria set by the management.
  3. Match Schedule: The management will announce the match schedule, and teams are expected to adhere to it.
  4. Protests: Any protests or disputes must be lodged in writing to the management within 30 minutes of the match.
  5. Code of Conduct: Teams and players are expected to maintain a high standard of sportsmanship and conduct themselves in a respectful manner.

Penalties:

– Late reporting: Teams reporting late will be marked as absent and point of match will be granted to another team.

– Defaulting: Teams defaulting on their matches will be disqualified.

– Misconduct: Players found guilty of misconduct will face disciplinary action.
